We will fly from London to Genoa or Pisa and return on British Airways, with transfers to Sestri Lavante taken by road, lasting just over an hour. Once on the coast, we will use the very efficient local trains to reach the start of our walks. On some days, we will use a local ferry to get back to the hotel, reducing the need for car travel.

At Hotel Celeste, breakfast will include a range of fresh fruits, yoghurt, eggs, and baked goods, while dinners feature a daily set menu of three courses. Vegetarian options are available as part of the Italian-style meals, and the hotel can usually accommodate vegan requests, making it easy for plant-based diners to enjoy authentic Ligurian cuisine. Meals are prepared on-site using fresh, local ingredients, helping to reduce food miles and support the local economy. Combined with its central location in Sestri Levante, this makes it ideal for a low-impact walking vacation where guests can explore the Cinque Terre on foot while enjoying thoughtfully prepared vegetarian and vegan-friendly cuisine.
