The itineraries we create are guided by three core pillars: protecting the environment, supporting local communities and enabling our guests to travel responsibly. To ensure this, we partner with a boutique team on the ground that has championed responsible tourism since 2011 and shares our values.

itineraries are designed to prioritise direct flights over multiple stopovers and encourage guests to slow down and focus on fewer areas over trying to visit everything within one trip. Visits to national parks include park entry fees, which directly fund conservation of landscapes and wildlife. We prioritise low-impact activities such as walking tours and hikes to minimise carbon footprint and we encourage small group led tours or buses over longer transfers to reduce the number of vehicles, lowering emissions and visitor pressure on sensitive sites. We also enforce 'Leave No Trace' principles.

Through experiences, our guides educate guests about the fragile ecosystems they visit like the Peninsula Valdes, Tierra del Fuego National Park and Torres del Paine National Park raising environmental awareness and sharing responsible visitor tips, so that guests understand local challenges and how to minimise negative impact.

We also prioritise accommodation that align with our sustainability standards. For example:

-Palo Santo Hotel is Argentina’s first urban green hotel in Argentina. Adorned with more than 800 thriving plants, not only does it look aesthetically pleasing but it also provides the building with natural insulation and absorbs CO2 emissions. All the hotel operations follow environmentally friendly practices.

-Kosten Aike is a family run business, with a gold certification with The Green Hotels Programme, a programme that ensures a sustainable hotel management process, which is recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.

-El Chalten Suites, has a silver certification for the Green Hotels programme

-Estancia Cerro Guido, is a working family run estancia and part of a rewilding initiative to protect native species, including pumas, condors, and guanacos. A percentage of the payment for a stay goes directly to the Cerro Guido Conservation foundation too.

People

People are at the heart of everything we do, and this itinerary has been created to balance Patagonia’s iconic highlights with hidden community treasures, ensuring tourism benefits are shared widely. Experiences such as hiking, boat navigations, and wildlife watching are led by certified local guides, providing skilled employment and keeping cultural knowledge alive.

In this itinerary we have consciously chosen hotels and lodges that actively contribute to the local culture and community through various initiatives. For example:

-Kosten Aike Hotel takes its name from the Tehuelche (indigenous people) meaning ‘place of the wind’ Most of the interior furnishing comes from local artists and inspired by indigenous local designs. The promote the purchase of local products, employ locally and invest in training. Part of their policy is fostering the social & economic development of the local community.

-Chalten Suites, donates to schools and the volunteer fire brigade, giving back to the community. They offer space for local artists and musicians to showcase their work and feature a boutique that sells local crafts, food and artisanal products.

- Estancia Cerro Guido invests in environmental education and community-led workshops while preserving the traditions of Patagonian ranching. These experiences are shared with guests, offering authentic insight into the region’s heritage. The estancia prioritizes local employment and skills development by hiring and training community members in key areas such as livestock ranching, wildlife monitoring, and tourism—helping to create long-term, sustainable livelihoods. Former puma hunters have also been retrained as wildlife guides, using their deep understanding of the landscape to support conservation.
