Each shore visit, almost all to small ports and harbours rarely visited by cruise ships, means that you are supporting the local economies in each of the islands that you are visiting. Whether it is eating in the restaurants, buying a souvenir or eating an ice cream.
Almost everything about this cruise is local. The vessel is locally owned and operated, the food we eat is bought and purchased locally, and we make use of local restaurants in most destinations. By visiting some of the smaller islands that get few visitors we are helping to sustain the island communities and their way of life.
We will endeavour to maximise the benefits of tourism and to minimise or eradicate any downside, socially, environmentally & economically.
We will encourage our passengers to learn and understand as much as possible about the local traditions, language and way of life to enable them to appreciate the reality of life in this part of the world. The crew be happy to answer any questions about the region, and will keep all of the passengers updated, not just with the day to day itinerary, but with in depth information about the history and way of life of the local communities.
