The husky dog sledding, the ice climb, the snowshoeing itself, being out in such a beautiful environment! And our companions too - the other four people in the party were lovely, and we all got on very well together - enough in common to bond yet different enough for good conversation!

Scenery - simply stunning. The weather was kind to us and we got bright sharp days of sun and snow to see the mountains and forests. Our vacation was very special but if we had to pick out one particular aspect then it would be the snowshoeing because we had not done it before. Having said that the scenery was stunning and so varied that every excursion offered something different meaning the whole vacation was special.

You really will get all the equipment. You will not need much of your own stuff. They give you sleeping bags and liners and towels, plus their clothes are
brilliant.

Very much so, we had local guides and local taxis for transfers.

Having a competent guide who knew the area & could lead us. Excellent hotel. We have a big problem with air flights which meant that we missed the train that we should have caught. The hotel very helpfully put on a minibus to fetch from the airport.
