Seeing the great migration, thousands of wildebeest crossing a river while making a "snoring" sound. We stayed their watching them for several hours. Wonderful.
Tips?
Think about the fact that you want to go camping or prefer staying in a lodge. The bathroom-facilities on the camping sites are basic.

Definitely the walking safaris at Chikoko and Crocodile camps in the South Luangwa.
Tips?
The style of camps at Tafika, Chikoko and Crocodile looks very natural and simple, even basic - and you v=certainly feel really at one with the bush and animals - however they have thought of all your comforts - the food and dining is first class, the rooms have every comfort you need (ensuite showers, hot running water and flushing loos)

I really liked the wildlife diversity that Tanzania Parks can offer. Especially in some areas, it was great to be able to be so close to the wild animals.
Tips?
I would have spent more time in Serengeti National Park, because of the vast area I believe I didn’t take the most of it…I stayed just one night. I would reccomend at least one night tented camp experience.

The game viewing at both safari lodges was excellent thanks to the high quality of the Rangers and Trackers. We have been on a number of safaris before but had not had more than fleeting views of leopards. On this trip we were lucky enough to see a large number of individual leopards at close quarters and for extended periods. We also saw packs of African Wild Dogs on 3 separate

Take a good camera with zoom lens, and good quality binoculars.
Take Immodium tablets - you are bound to need them at some point!
Develop a good relationship with your guide, they are invaluable at spotting wildlife and know where to look.

South Luangwa NP seeing 3 leopards the same day, I really enjoyed the canoe trip on Kafue river.
Tips?
Winter time can be chilly (5-6 C during the night, windy, humid) in Africa, we had to buy extra blankets (it was cheap, PEP the baby shop had excellent ones)
despite the sleeping bag with us. Be prepared to have long and bumpy rides with potholes, music, books etc can come handy. No wifi for days (e.g. Krüger no
wifi at all...)
